Just pencils: $150/page

Just inks: $75/page

Just color: $75/page

Just lettering: $40/page

Digital Paintings

I price by the hour, which means cost increases with complexity and editorial need. I estimate time needed and charge up front (this amount will not change, even if I end up taking more time than I estimated). My current rate is $40/hour. Generally speaking I can work with your budget.

Watercolor paintings

Watercolor paintings are physical objects that can be bought. The physical painting is usually slightly different from the scanned and edited piece. Originals add $100 to the cost of commission, plus shipping.

Acrylic Paintings

Acrylic paintings are only sold as originals, as they are generally too large to be scanned. Price increases by size and complexity. A 9x12” canvas commission starts at $300. The 48x56” painting to the left would be $3000 plus shipping and handling.

FAQ

Who owns the rights?

I do, unless you pay for them. We can talk about that through email. I use a standard contract that I require most commissioners to sign. But if this is for a commercial project, you should talk to my agent first. Her contact info is on my About page.

Can I use my commission for my phone background? Or print it out and put it on my wall?

Yes! While I retain commercial rights, you will have personal use rights. That means you can print out as many as you like, as long as you don’t sell them, use them to promote your business, or claim you created the image. (This is true for the images on my ko-fi and patreon as well.)

May I get your art tattooed?

Yes, but please tip me at least half of the amount you pay the tattoo artist. This applies to all my art, not just commissions.
